Default Any way to reduce understeering during acceleration?

Is there any way to reduce the understeering problem during acceleration after the apex is passed?

Good question.
I've been told a plated front diff (£1000) will do nicely, and that a good amount of positive caster will do well too, at about £200. These are custom top mounts from www.mrtrally.com.au, and that worked!

I found that Powerstation's anti-lift kit significantly reduced power-on understeer coming out of corners, if that is what you mean (I got laser 4 wheel alignment done at the same time)

Good advice from 911 there. Added caster increases the tendency for the outside front corner to camber in, which will improve your front-end grip considerably.

BTW, the anti-lift kit works by increasing caster by about 1.5 degrees.

What are the drawbacks from fitting the ALK?

Does it make the car any more nervous under hard braking?

not 'nervous' really, just a little more nose-dive under hard barking than before.
Hardly noticed it really.

There is a dissadvantage I think to the ALK. In fitting it, you put the lower wishbone front bush into slight bind as it is deformed to 'accommodate' the positional change of the rear pivot.
To get a much higher caster you need the right top mounts, and then remove the ALK!
