Default Cusco rear lower brace

Can somebody please show me where the cusco lower diff/subframe brace goes. Its the small one with squarish ends.

Mark, I think it triangulates the 'nose' end of the sheet steelwork around the rear diff witht the rear sus cross member. If you need 2 of them then I may be right, but it is a weird piece of kit!

it bolts underneath the car, my car allready had the holes and the tapped nuts as standerd, i simply bolted it on

i think my mate with his uk turbo had to have his holes tapped as there was no thread? not sure about that

So that's where it goes!
Stops the subframe from flexing and the lower track arms splaying under hard accelleration etc.
Did it actually make a difference?

not sure, i fitted it at the same time as the upper front and rears and also a set of 17" alloys and fresh rubber,so it defo felt diffrent but how much was down to certain parts, i have no idea

i did get the upperfront and rear plus that lower rear one for £150 all inclusive from a jap car importer who likes to sell the cars as standerd

bargin IMO

That sure is a bargain! I have the fancy lightweight MRT front lower brace with the Sti unit on the top. Would like to get one for the rear subframe as per this thread, any chance of a deal if your contact has one? Not looking to intrude on your 'line of contact'. If not, know anyone who sells the rear brace in the UK?
