Hi All,
Have a bit of a problem. Due to back problems my wife is struggling to ride in our MY96 Series McRae. Her back is tender so pot holes and ridges are the main concern.
I think read somewhere that the MY97/98 suspesion was softer, is this so and what sort of cost can I expect and is it very noticable?
Are there any after market kits I should look at as they all seam to be aimed at stiffening and lowering?
Does anyone think that swapping the Recaro's for better padded seats will help, any recommendations?
Thanks in advance for the help. I don't want to have to sell the car.
Cheers
Lee

May not be applicable, but fitting just the Eibachs to a MY99 improved the ride quality as well as handling. Much less jarring, banging and crashing - *almost* civilised over bad surfaces!
Guess MY96 has different dampers though....

Talk to Pete at scoobysport, with a coilover kit from Leda you should be set. There's alot of different springs available for that kit, and they should be able to choose a combo that'd work.

Thank's
Have spoken to Pete @ Scoobysport and they have done this sort of thing before.
Once I have the finances sorted I'll get it done.
Cheers
