I have read somewhere (but I cant remember when or where) that there is no need for bumpsteer mod with the TSL settings... is this true?
Also any feedback from people with the TSL geometry done would be welcome.. I have read plenty on the PS setup

Hi Richard
I've had the geometry done on two scoobs at TSL with very good results
I had terrible tramlining on a MY01WRX PPP and the car was transformed after the set up. The car felt much sharper on turn in and generally much more 'planted' if that makes sense! and the tramlining was greatly reduced.
Well worth the trip up the M1
I'm sure I'll be going there soon with my MY03

Rich,
Adjusting geo only will not remove bumpsteer. Yes, doing geo only can improve the handling no end. However, you are still going to get toe-in and out changes under braking, cornering, acceleration.
You still got the bread van ? What happened to the tango machine ?
Cheers

I don't want to stir up any trouble between the two companies - I like and have used both a number of times over the last two years, including for geo setup (TSL initially after lowering with Eibachs, and then again 6 months later after I side-swiped a kerb, then PS more recently after getting their antilift fitted.
All I can say is, after the most recent TSL setup I had tramlining issues (on fairly new tyres) creeping in already only 2 months after getting the setup done.
Rocked up two PS who claimed they could see the settings were way out, when the car was in the ramp up in the air, even before fitting the alignment measurement kit. I don't pretend to be an expert, but 'way too much camber' for driving on UK roads apparently - more set up like a track-only car. The net effect for me was two bald inners on the fronts after no time at all !!
The new PS settings feel awesome, with the tramlining gone despite the fronts still being quite bald on the inner rims - although of course the addition of the antilift kit could well be responsible for this....
I can supply all three sets of geo readouts if required
cheers

Too much negative camber front is always responsible for traimling higher stop distances etc and isn't necessary wrong if you use the car on track days!
It depends from what you asked them, personaly I never go more than 1 - 1,20 degrees negative camber front as I use my car always on road.

Is -4.5 front, -3 rear too much?
I don't think you can criticise anyone for geometry settings or tyre wear unless you've told them, and understand, what you want beforehand.
