Question

Are these easy to replace on A MY00? or is it one of these things that should be left to a garage. I am thinking of upgrading my rear droplinks and Anti Roll bar. Just dont want to unbolt them only to find I need a magician to get them back together. Thanks for any advice.

couple of 12 or 14mm headed bolts(can't remember off hand) at either side hold the "link" in place, just undo & re-fit.........

easy peasy m8.

How to replace Front drop links
Hot to replace Rear drop links
How to replace Anti-roll Bar

Some people have replace the drop links without raising the car, but since I have some ramps I used them to make access easier.

Ozzy...

Is it best to do the whole lot at the same time?

Jza,

Not sure to be quite honest. The OEM plastic ones have a tendancy to twist under heavy load. If you wanted to reduce understeer, then normally you'd tighten-up/stiffen the rear suspension (either through a solid drop-link or an ARB).

Just how much of an improvment you'd get just changing the fronts or just changing the rears I'm really not sure since I didn't drive my car until I had fitted both.

After I had fitted both sets understeer was reduced slightly, but I felt as if the car just felt more comfortable and controlable cornering. It didn't seem to roll and wallow as much as before.

Biggest difference was with the ARB, now that did put a huge smile back on my face

Cool

I have done the drop link thingies and they actually do make a difference great in the dry and a wee bit of oversteer now in the wet. A great mod.
