Hello,
I have a model year 2000 and am thinking of having the Leda b fitted, I have a few quistions.
1.How much lower is the ride height.
2.Are they noisy, either when cold or fully warmed up.
3.How long do they last before a re-build is required
4. How much does a rebuild cost.
Thanks
Adrian

The car is lowered approx 35mm front and 30mm rear.

Any coilovers will be noisier than standard but the latest generation Leda units are extremely quite, warm or cold. Noise levels are close to OE.

Recommended rebuild mileage is around 30,000 but this will depend on usage. My own car has done 38k and is no where near to needing a rebuild yet.

A rebuild is approx £400 if you let Leda remove and replace the struts as well as doing the rebuild.

Unhappy

Anyone thinking of having this work done at Scoobysport as I am, be aware that the price on there web page of £1231.00 is out of date. Phoning them today the cost inc.VAT and i assume fitting is now in the region of £1521.00
Bit of a shock!

Don't they have the price for the units and another for fitting that comes to about the same price as they quoted you???? When i looked at their website i came away with about £1500 in my head.

Tony.
