THEY ARE FEKIN COMPLETE AND UTTER PITA'S to sort.
I curse the day I bought the complete Powerflex kit.

Just swapped the ones on the big bar that holds the front end of the rear diff (the bar on the middle of the car), shot one of the stock bushes - uprated power, and a sorted clutch alters things it seems - and had a nasty rattly sound when reversing.

Anyhoo, didn't want to remove everything just to swap those 2 buggers, sp I went at them with a really powerful electric saw, a knife and some odd tools, a FO sledge included.

Once the rubbery part was removed it was relatively easy to get the tube bit out. Once the old bushing was out, getting the new Powerflex one in was a doddle.

Take this warning seriously - if U ever decide to go for uprated bushes - get the big plastic card out, and take it to a garage where it won't matter if they hate your guts afterwards.

/J - who's set his mind on swapping the rest of the rear ones himself.

Pete - now I know why U didn't recommend me and Goran to change the bushes.

They do make the car more "sharp" though - but it's alot noisier (which for me isn't a totally negative side effect ).

I'd recommend anyone with uprated power to sort the drivetrain bushes (incl the engine and tranny mounts) - front driveshafts won't snap from the gearbox/engine being twisted under heavy load, and the thud from a brisk gearchange is gone, and last but not least - the feel from up/downshifting is a million times better, it feels more solid.

And fer U Mutant-Mary - F.O.

/J

SAM,

Have you fitted all the bushes yet?

I have the Leda conversion which sorts the pitch and roll
but do the bushes cure the yaw effect. You know if you wiggle the steering wheel and the back end sways from side to side a little? This is what i'm trying to remove.

Stu.
