I currently have this on my hawk sti i like it loud when foot is down and quiet when coasting was wondering is this better or the nur spec r which i have sitting in my garage

I would say that you must have a cat in place still with/or a resonated centre pipe. As a complete decat makes the vortex crazy loud!

I would have to agree with this. My Vortex wasn't too bad whilst it still had the catted up pipe and Prodrive sports cat. However I have now replaced my up pipe for a decat and the exhaust is so loud. I've actually had to order a bung to keep the neighbours happy

I just took a vortex off my 99 classic. Straight cut. It was soooo dam loud!! So it's up for sale too! 2.5 inch bore. 07956224979 for more info.
