I have no issues with a seller trying to get as much for an item as they can, it is your right to do so.
I can certainly afford £100 for an item but thanks for you concern about my financial status.
My view on it is if it is used, I have no guarantee it will work, little come back with problems and it may have cosmetic damage and so why would I offer over 50% of a new one?
Some people may do but that is up to them. I am by no means a 'messer' by offering you money for the goods you are selling and from your attitude to a potential buyer of this item or any future item of yours, I'm glad I haven't managed to buy it from you as I would hate to have a dispute as obviously, I would be in the wrong!
One last thing is many SN members have seen your true colours and I hope they take note for future sales!
Thanks

well said ScoobP1 - I made a sensible offer for an item this guy was selling a few weeks ago and was given a load of verbal just like hes given you.
The fact of the matter is Gus that if your trying to sell an item and you put open to offers people are going to try and get that item at the lowest price they can - you as the seller are going to try and retain the highest possible price you can - thus a negiation process occurs where eventually you derive at a price acceptable to both parties. If you are not able to open to this process dont put "open to offfers" on your advert.
It would appear that you purposely go out of your way to agitate people and be rude and arrogant - a simple "sorry i need more for it than you have offered" would have sufficed but you feel it nessesary to make deogatary remarks in an attempt to big yourself up.
Not just me that thinks this clearly as you do it every time you list an item for sale.
As for the "messer" remark I happen to have purchased several items for SN members who understand the process of sale and purchase and not a reprbate who in my opinion lists things just to cause an argument. Im no messer friend and i could buy and sell you ten times over.
This isnt a rant at you on a personal level - merely an oberservation that is shared by others now clearly.
