Subaru Impreza WRX STi WANTED - Cash Waiting
I've recently just sold my M3 and i'm looking for a Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Im after the Blobeye edition, 2003 onwards, UK Spec or JDM but has to be Black!
Would prefer lower miles as possible <100k, service history is a must.
I've searched through eBay, Pistonheads and AutoTrader... If you know of any for sale currently please let me know, cash now waiting
Thanks

Tellin' me, nothing at all. Apart from one on eBay where the dude was lying about how many owners it had (Disputed my HPI check, lol.) which has now sold, nothing about.
Looking for a non-PPP myself, so at least we won't clash. There's two on eBay at the moment that look decent. One just gone up today.

that was a bargain as the widetrack ppp sti's 05/55 plate models normally go for around the 9k mark with low miles.
Will let you know if I spot any black ones as im also looking, (blue or grey for me)!

Thanks mate. Seem to be loads of nice Blue ones for sale atm! If I wanted blue its a dream situation, there's quite a few! Where you looking?
How much would you say 54plate widetracks are worth?

Yeah fair few blue ones but ideally want a standard ppp with low miles and not many atm.
Widetracks come out in 2005 with the diff control as well as the wider track on the back but you get the odd few on a 54 plate which were registered in 2005 (usually jan)
for a decent 54 car registered in 05 with low miles, from what ive seen I think anywhere between 7k lower end upto around 8k
Reckon its worth the extra as these cars are a bit more desirable with the diff control and wider track as they handle that bit better

Tell us your budget, then we know if your looking for a cheap and cheerful black blobeye, ie 5k, or an 8k well looked after subtle modded version?
<100k for a blobeye, especially a widetrack is not low mileage in my eyes.
Why Black?, oh and there are two shades of black for the blobeye

I didn't say low miles buddy, I said low as possible
Not sure tbh.. I just seem to prefer the back ones, rarer and command higher price? Im starting to look at the wr blue ones now also but not sure if I like them yet or not, mostly due to how common the colour is!

If I say what it is, then if I attempt to buy one from on here then the seller already knows my limits and this doesn't stand me well in the negotiations mate.

Black and white cars are the nicest IMHO

its not lame... it a non-willingness to want to share my figure! Simples
The budget doesn't matter to anyone but me, I know what I've got in mind, and this might change depending on the car!

Black is the best colour to look at by far,but is a pain to keep it looking good as shows everything, dirt, water marks even after a quick wash,i would love a black sti but as i work in a bodyshop i know its hard to keep it nice.

I travelled 250 miles and a 4 hour journey to view&buy as after an extensive chat with the owner, he said it was mint.. Blah blah blah. Only to find out it was disgraceful.. He completely lied about the car.. And also this car has the rear knocking problem, which when I confronted him about he said it was the parcel shelf lol
Avoid this car!!
