Fmic is in the ad mate

Also can I ask

"I have had the ecu flashed for run in to the delete the error codes for the tgv and air pumps but it just needs using"

I am guessing there is 1000 odd miles for run in period then a final map and that will get rid of the above and all will be fine.

I will explain about the ecu, while the engine was being rebuilt i purchased a brand new inlet manifold to remove the butterfly's out of (tgv's) and ditched all the servos for these.
I also removed all the airpump system wich includes some valves and a pump, all ecu controlled.
As the engine was having slighlty bigger pistons fitted, front mount, headers, big turbo e.t.c i thought it would be wise for the run in period to get the ecu remapped (flashed) for this period to obviouisly just check everything was right and to delete the annoying cel light thrown on by removing air pumps and tgv's.
As soon as the run in is finished, the another flash is required for performance.
I would be happy to put the next owner intouch with the mapper i used who is good and very reasonable.
The car is running lovely, since the middle of december i have worked in the lakes and stay there in the week hence not using the car now.

hope this helps, any more questions please just ask.

Just to answer some questions:
The engine has been built with a final 400-500bhp output in mind.
My plan was md 321 and about 450bhp- this was going to be in 6-12 months needed some use out of the car first.
So i purchased the a forrest tdo5 20g for the time being as a nice turbo to run in with and use for some time after i beleive its good for 400bhp.
The engine was built with brand new complete cylinder heads as the previous ones where goosed due to a bad rebuild with previous owner.
The engine build has cost approx £6k even all the idlers on the cambelt have been replaced for new ones, so no expense spared here.

Why do i want to sell:
I dont..
I bought the car middle of last year when i had some time on my hands, i started a new job in december and now have no time as i stay away from my family all week and now only come home at weekends, so spend all this time with the wife and kids. So it will take me 12 months to finish run in...!!!!
I can be without a nice car and will consider and at the moment the only car i would consider in pex is an e46 m3 must be minth low mileage and please no idiots with 80k 02 plates for a swap.

I have no problem anyone inspecting the vehicle, paperwork e.t.c

thanks hope this helps.

As said it is a cracking spec that you don't see that often, a fully forged hawkeye is a rare thing to come up and I am gutted that I am not in the position to buy at the minute

I am shocked there has not been more takers on this

Best of luck with the sale

dont suppose you would be interested in a 326bhp 04 WRX swap with cash your way, lookintg for similar bhp but cant get that kind of BHP without major cost on the wrx so swap for sti is my target, cheers

Depends on the cash to be honest, just too put things in perspective this casr has just had £10k spent on it.
I would only sell whatever i took in pex anyway so would have to be reasonable price.
cheers

Im not the best picture taker in the world and the light was hard in between showers and sunny spells as you can tell on the pics on the grass.
I didnt have time to valet it and really had to rush but you get the idea.
Next weekend i have a bit more time so i will put on the mud flaps then take some more pics if its not sold....
done another 50 miles this weekend with each mile its getting better and better someone is going to get a bargain here, drives superb im only driving to run in but you can feel the boost will be instant right from under 2k, seems a good combo not sure on top end will have to wait 1000miles or so. What a good car.!!

Nice car bud, just doing a forged build on mine. so know how much it costs.
57k on your car is not a good reflection on what the car is. its got a new fresh engine in there, you can see by the pics, you look after it. worth 15k all day long.

good look with it. some one is going to get a good car.

Default ANSWERS

To answer some questions.
I may take a pex but im only going to sell it so just expect a fair price.
Im selling BECAUSE of my new job and working away all week so i do not have time to use the car as i spend the weekend with my family, all this paperwork is available to verify, and im open to any inspection on the car.
Yes of course its hpi clear i did an aa check when i bought it wich is guaranteed.

Why use new cylinder heads and inlet : why not..!!
The cylinder heads and inlet are brand new items removed from a crate engine.
They had never run before so all valves springs, cams, head castings covers e.t.c are brand new.
I put a new inlet on just to brighten it up , again why not.

Yes i do have some old parts that can go with the car.
wheels and tyres, turbo, air box, air pumps, exhaust manifold, clutch, i threw the old discs and pads as no-one uses second hand brakes.
I have the pod where the gauges sit too.
I have left the car with a bodyshop this week to have the mudflaps fitted and polish up as i havent done it for a year as its been dry stored and wrapped up while having all the parts and modifications fitted.

I am looking to recoup as close to £15k as i can, its definately worth it considering its just had £10k spent on it thats just the engine, turbo and wheels...!!

Of course im willing to talk on price and will pay for the remap when the run in is complete with the mapper i used.
Please no silly offers im happy to discuss close to the price im looking with or without all the standard parts mentioned.
any more questions just pm me.

Default REDUCED / OFFERS

Not been able to touch the car for 2 weeks now, our 2 year old has had the mrs up all week(teething badly) while ive been working away so im baby sittin while she catches up on sleep..lucky me....!!!
I have reduced the car to £14495 ono as its pointless me having it much longer to sit around and not get used.
i may consider part exchange to sell especially e46 m3 as thats something i can use all the time and not have 2 cars.

For those that have asked, paul finch is an ex F1 engine builder and probably one of the best people in the country for building the ej engine. Im sure other members will vouch for this aswell
thanks
