It's at the bottom of the ad. £8995 or nearest offer.

Really nice clean car, imported when the car was brand new so only had one owner. Maintained properly throughout it's life. I have all the bills as well from TSL and for the tein suspension.

The car was bought new on the 14 Jan 2005 at a cost of £28000 by the current owner from David Hendry Cars. He also had a Pioneer sat nav with dvd stereo and tracker fitted by the dealer at an extra cost of £1622.

1st service 1003 miles by TSL 09/02/05

2nd service 7920 miles by TSL 29/07/05

3rd service 16173 miles by TSL 28/01/06

4th service 23715 miles by TSL 11/1106

5th sevice 30474 miles by TSL 01/05/07

6th service 42680 miles by TSL 19/10/07

7th service 52841 miles by TSL 02/05/08

8th service 70645 miles by TSL 02/05/09

9th service 80572 miles by CVS 19/09/09

10th service 90123 miles by CVS 10/03/10

I have every bill from TSL and Cambourne Vehicle Services in my file which shows exactly what the car has had spent on it from new.

On the 10/05/05 the car underwent TSL's 333 upgrade. This brings power up to 333bhp and 335 lb/ft at a massive cost of £2009 which i ofcourse have a bill for. In November the car then had a further map upgrade by TSL at a cost of £270.

The car also has TEIN super street coilover kit which was fitted by TSL on 22/10/07 at a cost of £805.

Please call me on 07795504070 during the day or on my personal number 07563340925 in the evening for any further infomation.

Thanks, Matt.

I think its more a mileage thing than a time of year thing fella. I cant believe TSL could not get more power out of her though, i have a 05 STi UK with the same 333 kit. I wish i had gone JDM.

I can't believe in this day and age people still think 100,000 miles is alot. Christ, I've got a Citroen CX in my lock up that has covered 217,000 miles and still drives like the day it left the factory. This is solely due to how it has been maintained.
The Impreza is now 6 years old ( in a couple of weeks anyway ), so at a 100,000 it works out at little over 16K a year.

I'm sure TSL could of got more BHP from her but the upgrade is called 'the 333' so I'm guessing that's what it is. There is no dyno print out but TSL gaurentee 333 BHP. It was mapped again a few months later so is probably a little higher.

Really think this car is a bargain at this price. If only I could get somebody to come and see it and drive it then their worries about mileage would be put to rest.

As its not your car matty u cant realy say how its been driven and alot of these cars in my exspereince have been raced and 100,000 miles of a hard life is like 1000000 miles of a citroen.

I think if it was cheaper i would still buy it and pay for a full build 5k ..

The car doesn't need a full build. The man who owns it is very mature guy who used it to commute to and from work. Nearly all of the miles are motorway miles. He also owns a Version 4 STI which he uses when wanting to do some hard driving. If you made the journey to come and see the car you would be able to tell that the car is not a thrashed about wreck. You obviously know your cars Fud from looking at the pics of your previous cars. I offered the car to you for £7400 which we both know is a complete bargain, and in all honesty, if I hadn't recently purchased my STI3 I would be having this car for my own collection.

Please bare in mind Fud that if the car had done half the miles then it would be at least 2K more in price. It all depends where your budget is. If you've only got 7 and a half K to spend then you either have to be looking at higher mileage newer cars or lower mileage older cars. It depends what you want for your money Fud.

Well worth the money, mileage may be higher than average, but the cost is a lot lot less than you would have to pay for a lower mileage car.

The MY05 JDM STi is brilliant if you want a well balanced practical car, they go like stink in stock form with a remap, just look at the results mine has achieved in the last two years at Scoobysprint and scooby shootout (2nd overall).

Mine is just under 50K miles and if you thought you could buy it from me for just £2K more than this i'd laugh my pants off at you, finding a JDM spec car is very hard right now, as nothing is being imported due to the £ colapsing against the Yen, to import one would cost a fortune.

If you are worried about the miles on the engine, it should be fine if maintained properly, but even if it went belly up you could buy a 30K mile JDM spec engine from a breakers relatively cheaply.

I've no interest in this car at all, dont know the car or seller, but if it looks OK on inspection it really is a bargain the way the JDM market is at the moment.

Been offered £7,000 twice which was ofcourse refused. Been offered swaps galore, BMW 5 series, classic imprezas, Sierra cosworth, Audi. It goes on and on.
You seem to get alot of that from piston heads. I haven't put it on the trader yet but probably worth a shot now.

Thank you for your comments John, finally someone who sees sence regarding the mileage.
Yes it's above average miles but it's also bloody cheap. The car is in beautiful condition inside and out with nice history. Just as you would expect from a one mature owner car.

Can see where the OP is coming from, if I remember right Ian had his jdm 05 for sale with half the miles for 12k so seems a fair price to reflect it's miles

Thought all the jdm's where twin scroll and a vf37

MY05 JDM STi uses a twin scroll VF37 turbo as standard.

The Spec C version uses a VF36 turbo, only difference between them is the VF37 is a sleave bearing turbo, the VF36 is a roller bearing turbo. The VF37 is more robust and cheaper to replace, spool may be 200rpm quicker on the roller bearing VF36, but the VF37 is still very quick spooling compared to a single scroll unit on the UK car, with far more performance potential too.

333BHP/lbft is a very mild state of tune for one of these, mine is running circa 370BHP/390lbft with just an EcuTek remap, panel filter and exhaust.

To give you an idea of how quick these can be with very little mods/money spent, i'll compare performance of one of the best classics you can buy, my old STi5 TypeRA Ltd and my current MY05 JDM STi, both with the same levels of tune, being a remap, panel filter, walbro fuel pump and exhaust, both no other engine mods so running stock turbo's, injectors, ECU, intercooler etc. These are 4th gear figures using Delta Dash Road Dyno.

MY05 JDM STi MY99 STi5 RA Ltd

40-60MPH 2.1s 3.0s
60-80MPH 2.2s 2.4s
70-90MPH 2.5s 2.7s
BHP/Tonne at wheels 198 180
Distance travelled after 8 seconds 195metres 160metres

These new age cars may be quite lardy compared to the classic, but they make up for it with much better engines, especially the JDM's.
