Default Changing silver zunsport grills to black

I currently have silver full zunsport grilles on my blobeye, but would prefer it if these were black. Is it easy to spray / powdercoat these? Or am I better off selling the silver ones and then buying a black set? Has anyone else done anything similar?

You could do it yourself - sand them a little, primer, a few coats of black and a few coats of lacquer. The worst that'll happen is some black will get stone chipped off.

Did you lacquer them? Dont want them shiny but thought i could use some matt lacquer to give it some protection. How often do you need to touch them up?

Regularly.

I grilled my lower intake on my classic, painted the grille satin black, with the Subaru Stars in the centre in white.

Had to redo it about every year.

Perfect. I bought the car with them on, are they easy to remove and replace? Is there a guide anywhere?

the top one you take the grill out and there are like sliders on the back to get the mesh out .the bottom one has got 2 screws which are behind my number plate and it just pulls forward and some prong going into the bottom which just lift out
