As above i've finally got around to it. and also went for a satin black spray while the unit was apart. it looks the mutts now

Looks good, was the satin black difficult to do?

 

no dead easy mate. alot easier than i thought. i just keyed the plastic surround with a bit of 1200 grit, then just applied 3 coats of satin left if overnight and refitted.
youve just got to make sure you seal the unit back up well

 

Looks good mate, makes a huge difference Is it just me or have you got orange bulbs in there at the moment though?? If so get some Silvatec bulbs
