Default Anyone ever take off those roofrails on a wagon ?

Anyone ever did that ?
Do you remain with bare attachment points on your roof or can these easily be closed up with special caps or is a full roof weather strip required on both sides ?

Trails, Thanks mate !
Great link and a LOT of info on your project, something for me to shoot for.

Do you have any tips on obtaining those replacement roof strips (without the rail holes), i assume that taking them off a donor car at the breakers is an option or are they hard to take off in 1 piece ?

Glad I could help

I have the serial numbers for the parts somewhere...I'll dig them out for you. easy to remove; practise on the sections you are removing with the roof rail holes; they slide away from the front of the car to remove them from the fixing points on the roof. take care and you should be able to keep all the catches in one piece.
