Bugeye carbon fog covers
Is there anything out there original/rare?
i can see sets on ebay but they are "carbon look"
I would love the carbon ducts but they wont fit due to intercooler pipes.
just need something different as the set i have on now are bodged and in pug blue and dont match. they were supposed to be a quick fix while some carbon ones were being made but the person making them has disappeared
Any help welcomed

I couldn't find any when i went looking, so i've started to attempt to make my own, i've made my plug (mould) and got the 2x2 Twill CF and the resin etc, but due to having to work my **** off around xmas i've not had time to finish them.
They could turn out ****e, but they could turn out fine and its a laugh (the fumes ) having a go myself.
Didn't cost much for the bits needed, so if it does go pete tong, it wont be too costly.

yeah sure.
But if they do go wrong, the chap that did all the Carbon bits on my 106 Rallye will have a go, but would need a min of 5 people guaranteed to buy for him to start making them.
I'll speak to him and get a estimated cost and then if another 3 people wanted them, get some Covers sent off to him for him to make his moulds.

I think there will be a demand if it was placed in group buys, but its soon after xmas and people are(like me) skint

sorry its my fault for assuming it was the STi type you wanted, the only others that i've seen is these ones
http://www.scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalo...HT_COVERS.html
if its not them, post a pic/link as i've sent him a email and copied a link to this thread in so he should see it, may be able to get both types made if theres enough intrest. but im not fussed about what style they are really as long as there CF!

Hello Matt,
ETSRacing Fog Lamp Covers www.etsracing.com there are 5 bugeye covers on page 4.
i'm thinking about either of the bottom 2 or the twin brake duct ones(p1 i think they call them)
Quite original as never seen them before

yes mate, they are the ones i was getting fabricated last year but the person doing it disappeared
either them ones or ones on blue car
these 3, not sure how much the lights will be though or if they are moulded into the cover
never seen them before
would look very good in carbon and be a rare mod.

I'd like the Duct ones as id be able to use it when i fit my APS induction kit.
How much are the ones on the Cars, it gives no price on their site for them.

dunno mate, going to call them later to find out.
i do track days so both ducts would come in handy for brakes.
after you have spoken to your mate, shall we put it in group buy and see what people want? if we get 5 of each we are laughing if not we go to the most popular?
think we can get 5 at least as im sure we're not the only bug owners wanting them in carbon
