yes, but its well hard. i used nail polish remover and some hard rubbing.
when you pull the black stuff off you are left with the glue .
so yes with hard rubbing.

Did you have to take the windows out to do it?

i used to work as a tinter so i can advise you how to do this although i cant really understand why you want to they look well tinted.

all you need is a spay bottle of soapy water, some razor blade pref with a garded top edge if not normal type will do,a heat gun or strong hair dryer and anone metal scouring pad

start to warm tint in top corner with heat gun and then start to peel it away from glass as you peel more away heat the rest of glass and the glue will come off with the tint once off just go over with soapy water and blade if any small bits of glue left.

for the back window same technique but you cant use the blade for it because of the back heater matrix but once the film is of just use the scourer to clean up any remaining glue no need for any special chemicals or nail polish remover just soapie water and the scourer hope this helps

p.s if the tints are factory fitted they may not come off as it is not film but a pigment in glass you will know when you try to peel it off though

I think you may find it is tinted glass and not a film on it as they are factory fitted.... if you wish to go to the trouble of removing them the P1 model does not have rear tints so you could swap the glass.

Curious to ask why you wish to loose the tints from a factory standard tinted car ? they make the car in my eyes plus they keep it cool in summer and your gear is out of sight.

As it's a Type R then yes they are 'factory fit' ... I just prefer the non-tinted look to be honest. Although not enough to swop the glass out for P1 glass!! So they're probably staying for the time being at least!!

What he said ^^^

The tint can not be removed without changing the glass.
