What needed to fill in scoop scratches/crack while preparing for paint
Hi folks,
I have rubbed down my scoop and primered.
I have a couple of scratches that kep appearing after prime that will need filled in and smoothed down again, also have a little crach i would like to fill in.
What can I use that would let me put it on, and then sand down to level.
cheers

scratches should fill with a few coats of high build primer, but the cracks will probably not fill, If original plastic scoop try one of the mobile body repairs as they can plastic weld it for you, if a fibreglass one best to sand through the crack and repair with fibreglass, then fill and high build prime it.

If it keeps re-appearing when you prime it, then it is more likely to be a crack in the gel coat of the fibreglass, and no matter how times you keep priming it, it will keep re-appearing.
You need to dig down to the crack/split and address it with decent filler or fibreglass resin.
