Question Sticking the S U B A R U letters back on.

Mine weren't replaced properly when the boot/spoiler were resprayed. They fell off when they got up to 40 degrees C in Provence, but I collected them all.

So what do I stick 'em back with? Normal double sided sticky pads seem too thick..........

I'd leave them off, looks much better without them. Sorry that's not much help.

I debadged my 206gti, but then decided to stick the gti badge back on. I used an adhesive from Halfords. Can't remember the exact brand as this was four years ago.
Might just be easier to just buy another badge if you are going to buy glue as they're about the same price anyway

Halfords sell 'trim tape' which is a thin (1mm or so) double sided foam tape for about £3-4. I used normal double-sided (layered up a bit) for a while and it held well, but I didn't go to Provence at the height of summer Here's a guide as to how to position them....

....later I went for a slight variation using those individual chrome letters you can get from motor factors (or eBay) for about a pound each....

Edit - HERE YOU GO !

Cheers for that, I quite like the IMPREZA one.

Thanks for the spacing too: saves me having to go out and measure the marks in the muck on the rear of mine

Think I must be the minority, I actually like the Subaru lettering being on the back! when I had my boot re-sprayed I had the letters refitted as I thought it looked to bare.
