Look at that 2 carbon addicts already
The test car should be someone with no Carbon on it cough cough

That looks like a good bit of kit...
I'm looking forward to seeing that fitted, and a good idea to go without the boot lock, keeps the boot nice and clean.

Hi,
Sorry, already got a test car organised for tuesday, Ill get some pics of it fitted then.

I think it would look good on your car half colour coded fatmanscooby

Thanks for your kind words simon, just got to make sure you do a small mod to the lock mechanism to prevent the pull lever from being disabled :O
Ill post some pics of that too.

axgt, I havent actualy weighd it yet, but going on past experience, it will be about half of the steel original

Thumbs up

Looks awesome mate-you've done a good job . Looks ace in the flesh-nice clean fit and not having the swage line makes it even better.

Cheers Paul.

Hi mate. Can you tell me the weight difference betwee the normal boot lid and this one. Also can this item be painted. As I would be fitting it to a rally car and would prefer it painted also could the spoiler holes be drilled and the lock fitted. I am mainly interested in weight reduction. and cost

And finaly SUBTYPER,
Weight, 4.2Kg. Original steel boot lid, 8.5Kg.
It can be supplied with or without holes for lock/ spoiler.
I can also supply it painted too for a little extra.
The price of the bootlid is £379.00 fully finished.
