Surely if you buy pre-facelift crystal lights then it will fit?!

.... and I'm sure that you can get the pre-facelift lights in crystal from TSL or Scoobyshop?!

Cheers,
Grant

crystal headlights were only available on 99-00 classics and are a slightly different shape to the pre facelift lights as is the bonnet.Pre facelift crystal headlights are not available.TSL do the crystal sidelights though and these will fit

they do fit, but they don't look right.

the inner edge (bordering the grille) of the facelift lights is straight and angles out toward the top, whereas the prefacelift has a smooth outward curve.

Since the grille matches the curve of the headlights, fitting the angled light to the curved grille looks odd, but it will go.

there is no difference in shape between the post facelift cloudy and crystal lights.

I am only talking about subaru made parts, I cannot account for after market supplied items.

Sorry.. Please ignore my first post!!

For some reason I thought this was about indicators in crystal effect....... Never even crossed my mind that it was about the actual headlights?!

Cheers,

The post facelift bonnet is shaped differently to accomodate the newer shape lights so the early bonnet will not fit properly around the newer lights.Im afraid the crystal lights need the newer bonnet unless you want lots of nasty gaps around the lights

as said above, they will go on, and the bonnet will close, I think without touching the lights, but it looks obviously naff.

if it is a fill in until your proper bonnet and grille arrive then it is fine.
