Spoiler for 2003 WRX
#1
Just wondering if anybody has changed or has any suggestions of what spoiler to put on a 2003 WRX.
Looking ideally for one that looks similar to a STI spoiler but not the £800 that subaru want for one.
Any help and pictures will be greatfully received.
Richard.

As seen on the Quenbys Brothers MY2003 demonstrator
I am not sure where they got it from. A few more pictures on

looks like the "morette" rear spoiler I have, now an OEM part available from Subaru....I saw pictures of this and bought it.
In the flesh it is angled backwards like the 22B spoiler. The spoiler on the 22b looks soooooo good because the car is short but on a WRX the back end looks "stretched".
beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I would live like a monk, drink water, put the pennies aside etc. and buy the real thing...#

Yeah, I think they Subaru can supply the above spoiler - it looks mighty like the one they suggested instead of the STi one. They actually had one and it just wasnt as good IMO - dint seem as smooth to me etc...didnt like the brake light on it either. But of course, it is about half the price of the STI, maybe less.
In end went for the real deal STi one, as it was prepainted too (I think it comes in blue and silver - other colours will have to be repainted I guess) which saved a bit of time, hassle and energy over the other one.

Lucky
I bought mine from TSL and it fits in the original holes, as I have mentioned it "leans" back a little for my taste and looks like a 22b.
Try tsl-motorsport.co.uk web site or ask for paul (trouser) on their phone number.
£300 quid plus VAT seems to ring a bell...if you want a WR blue one I might be changing mine!

no, I'm afraid not.
The orginal holes will not support the new spoiler therefore additional holes are required.
However it does completely cover the holes left by OEM spoiler (which some other spoilers dont).
Lets face it though, once fitted are you ever likely to go back to the OEM WRX03 spoiler?
Hope this helps
