He's put pressure on the p*ss -weak FA by resigning as England player, just when everyone now knows that what is replacing him isn't good enough.

My guess is a small fine and reinstatement to the England setup.

It's just Terry courting sympathy(again ), claiming his position is untenable.

It was untenable the moment you were charged by the CPS Johnny boy, you've been hanging about the England set up like a bad smell for 2 years now, you've lost your pace and you weren't all that anyway, see ya !

At least I wont have to support a England team with him in the line up.
He sums up everything that is wrong with over-payed modern footballers.

Really ? his legs went years ago, he hasnt had a great game this season,
he was never going to make the next world cup anyway so he hasnt really done much besides take it out of the FA`s hands,
we have plenty of younger players that want to play for their Country and are more then capable.

Guess I was wrong, they have actually stuck something on him!

Wonder why his ban was for only 4 games, when Suarez got 8?

A court of law finds him not guilty and some cronies who only get together over port and biccies of an afternoon find him guilty

Agreed that it's the same as Suarez case, so why only 4 matches?

£220,000? That's just 22 of his "charity" stadium showarounds and he has 4 weeks to do it in - he won't need a mortgage advisor

Gambler, a bad one at that.

In reflection 4 games is rubbish compared to what Suarez got, doesn't matter if you say it once or 7 times both admitted using the language both should be treated the same.

Only a 20 match ban will get these idiots to look at their behaviour.
