Not that it has anything to do with the incidents but am I the only one who was bored of Mr Gray the last few years? Same faces since Sky Sports started - about time for a refresh (or part refresh) imho.
Sounds like his lawyers have been instructed to deal. Cant imagine ESPN etc will take him as publicly soiled goods now.

Very bored with Gray so happy that they are using this to give him the boot - hope the same goes for Keys too, but I have a sneaking feeling that this all feels very set up. Amazing how easy it is for people to get hold of off camera video moments when they suddenly want to and Keys was quick to ring to apologise. Maybe a deal - sell your mate down the river and hang on to your job or...
I have journalist friends and have heard other stories about what a pair of ar5eholes they are in real life. Very prone to do the whole " Do you know who I am"? sort of thing. If true then I'm not sorry to see the back of them.

I found him full of himself and a bit arrogant and sometime absolutely cluless in his co-commentary
Food and Drink !!
Key's should also go (let Charlotte have his job) and lets jazz it up a bit as it has gone slightly stale.
That said it is still by far the best football coverage on TV I have seen anywhere in the world.

oh dear - looks like "Keysie" is heading the same way...
New video: Richard Keys is caught on tape asking Jamie Redknapp if he 'smashed it'
The future of fellow Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys - who was issued with a warning for his involvement in the furore - was also unclear last night, after new footage emerged of him appearing to speak in lewd terms about a former girlfriend of pundit Jamie Redknapp.
Last night, a new clip of Keys chatting to Redknapp before a game at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge was posted on the internet.
The off-air conversation begins with someone behind the camera mentioning a former girlfriend of the ex-England footballer.
Referring to the woman as "it", Keys asks Redknapp whether he "smashed it", before the former midfielder replies that he "used to go out with her".
The presenter then says: "Mind you, that's a stupid question, if you were anywhere near it, you definitely smashed it. You could have gone round there any night and found Redknapp hanging out the back of it."
Before the footage emerged, Keys's actress daughter had jumped to his defence.
Jemma Keys told the Daily Mirror: "He bitterly regrets it now. He would never deliberately be rude.
LOL

Well if that is the case then they will have no choice but to let him go following a similar decision on Gray.
It will be interesting to see if the NOTW did hack Gray's phone because I'd bet my mother in law he will be front page this Sunday for one reason or another.

The thing is how far does it go. People have banter like that every day. Fair enough if you left your mic on and it got aired live or to the offended person etc but if anyone can record your convo and use it in this way at a later date it makes a mockery of it all.

Brady Bunch
I wish Karen Brady would button it for a minute , she is milking this to death and being quite vicious about it towards Keys, if she was the bigger person she would have taken his call and accepted an apology instead of using this as an excuse to criticise him further and coming out with the rubbish that she has done in the press, very childish behaviour.
She appears to be on a crusade now, if she had put as much effort into running WHUFC as she has done in her crusade against sexism and Richard Keys maybe they wouldn't have looked like complete amateurs over the Avram situation.
I'm a big believer in Karma but I never thought it could work that quickly, well done Birmingham
