Default Premiership Review - Best Ever ???

Wow what a season

For me this has been the best Premier League yet.

Stoke and Hull managing to stay up, Stoke especially, Tony Pulis take a bow

The battle for the top and bottom spots raged on all season, for the first two thirds of the season anyone from 8th to 18th could have gone down or taken a European spot.

Rooney was my player of the season, Ashley Young the young player.

Some great entertaining matches where defences went missing for large spells of the match frequently.

Newcastle and Boro going down, should make the Championship a very interesting league once more, looking at some of the teams in the Championship, how long until the Premier league become 2 tier I wonder.

Rafa must get a mention for all the good and the bad, end of the day he presided over Liverpools best Top flight season for 20 years. no mean feat with only 2 world class players in the squad.

Next year should be even tighter with LFC improving CFC no doubt opening the vaults for Ancelotti and maybe Wenger might open his purse and splash the cash

Looking forward to next season already

As a Evertonian its been a great season, may get even better come Saturday.

As a whole its been a ok season, a lack of goals, did a team even score 6 this season? Torres, Anelka & Rooney aside no potentially prolific strikers in the league like the Premier League seasons gone by when loads of strikers scored 20, 25, 30+ goals.

Good to see Stoke stay up, Newcastle deserved to go, some real poor teams in the bottom 10.

Player of the season? Gerrard, I also think Liverpool will win the title next season.

Enjoyed the season, best season was the invincible one but im biased.

How long was Anelka injured for? still top scorer.

highlights was Bentley's goal against us, i may hate them but you have to appreciate it.

Also i think Rednapp and Hiddink have worked miracles.

I think it will be between chelsea and man u next year as long as chelsea get the right manager(think chelsea looked good under Hiddink)

Sorry but Rooney was never player of the season. Gerrard, Vidic, Ronaldo, Lampard were all better. Good call on young though
