Default Vagabonds XI: an agent's dream

Anyone want to add to this informal list of current football players who seem to change their clubs more than their undercrackers? They've made themselves and their agents into very wealthy people! You can probably do better... (especially with my defenders)

Goalkeeper:
Jens Lehmann (Schalke, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Stuttgart)

Centre Backs:
Matthew Upson (Luton, Arsenal, Birmingham, West Ham + various loan spells)
Tal Ben Haim (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Bolton, Chelsea, Man City)

Full backs:
Danny Mills (Norwich, Charlton, Leeds, Man City + various loans spells)
John Arne Riise (Aalesund, Monaco, Liverpool, Roma)

Midfielders:
Simon Davies (Peterborough, Tottenham, Everton, Fulham)
Danny Murphy (Crewe, Liverpool, Charlton, Tottenham, Fulham)
Clarence Seedorf (Ajax, Sampdoria, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan)
Edgar Davids (Ajax (twice), AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan, Tottenham, + Barcelona on loan)

Strikers:
Craig Bellamy (Norwich, Coventry, Newcastle, Blackburn, Liverpool, West Ham, Man City + Celtic on loan)
Nicholas Anelka (Paris Saint Germain (twice), Arsenal, Real Madrid, Man City, Fenerbahce, Bolton, Chelsea + Liverpool on loan)

Sub: Robbie Keane (Wolves, Coventry, Inter Milan, Leeds, Tottenham, Liverpool)

Anelka's my favourite vagabond with 85 million quid in transfer fees to 8 contracted clubs + one loan deal and he's still only 29! Isn't his brother his agent?!

I wouldn't consider 4-5 clubs unusual in the modern game, although Bellend and Anelka certainly take top prize, both hard work if the stories are to be believed.

Tommy Doc would have to be the manager, more clubs than Tony Jacklin as he used to say

Some of them are pretty normal tbh. How long was Lehman at Arsenal, you can hardly call him for moving clubs alot...

Is this limited to Top players cause we could have a field day here

They're both good ones. I just checked Jeffers on Wiki and he's still only 27. Can you believe that since he left his first club (Everton) in 2001 he has scored a paltry total of only 14 goals in nigh on 8 years as a professional striker?!

These clubs must just be buying him for his good looks

Ah yes "My Left Foot" as Daniel Day Lewis used to call him (I think!). Vieri was great in the air and with his left peg, but if the opposing defence could push him out to the right, he was pretty harmless because he could never get a decent shot in with his useless right foot.

Good news for Robbie Keane! He's finally coming off the bench and will now be starting in a new 3 man attack in my Vagabonds XI. That's his 7th transfer sorted: his agent (Mr Ten Percent?) must think the sun shines out of his 'arris.

Great player in his day at Sunderland, shame it was during Philips peak.

Career ultimately wrecked by injury though

Haim now also has sunderland to add to his CV

Just thought I would update this thread regarding Robbie Keane. During the last year he has already left the club he "supported as a boy" i.e. Liverpool after only 6 months on the pay-roll and returned to play for his beloved Tottenham again for another measly 6 months, until deciding yesterday to join the club he "supported as a boy" i.e. Celtic. for a 6 month loan. Where will he end up in the summer? Laughable really.

So the 29 year-old has now swapped clubs 8 times.
