Who Pays for Setanta?
With tonights England game on Setanta (highlights on ITV) and a few discussions with mates, I was wondering how many people actually pay the £12.99 a month Setanta are asking?
I personally dont as already pay enough with Sky World + HD Mix sub. Its strange as a) I think its good to have some competition b) Sky used to charge £60+ for prem plus which was just football c) Setanta offer boxing, UFC and other events. Yet I still find myself not wanting to sign up. Maybe its cos Im lazy and want it all in one package.

pay for it as i enjoy the prem matches. plus get the england games etc. u21's last night was good.
its gone up now from £10 to £12.99 i think. I rang up to cancell and complain i wasnt warned and i now pay £6 for next 8 months.
if you have it its def worth trying it, whats the worse that can happen?
im thinking of cancelling as ive found a website that shows all the prem matches (including 3pm kick offs) and also the internationals.
def get my moneys worth but at £60 a month all in id expect to

If they actually had a HD channel and I could get it £7.50 a month I might be tempted but I can live without it at present.

All england games should be on terrestrial tv,
Paying to watch your home country play footy is a **** take!
At least premiership plus was only 60 quid if you bought it early enough.
Setanta is twice that for a years footy watching.
And it has less games than prem plus!
******* irish rip off ba5tards!

The usual "I'm thinking of leaving *******" helps, but they are wise to this now so not always bulletproof. I tried to get a deal when I first knocked my sky package down a few months back. Didn't offer me $hit, so got bugger all for £17.
Now got Freeview. Rang Sky up to tell them I was leaving (but obviously this time was actually leaving), and they started offering me all sorts, as low as £3 a month. Still left though, got a good deal with what I have now.
