Default Rooney today.

Thought he did a great job.

For Blackburn.

Seriously, the guy is loose cannon. How much of SAF, Quiroz and his team mates time and energy was spent putting an arm round his shoulder and telling him to calm down?

Today was one of those games that can swing a title 180 degrees. I think Utd were very unlucky not to win, ( Freidel had a superb game ) and probably should have had at least 1 pen, but the guy is a pro ( allegedly ) on '000's per week and needs to start acting like one.

I don't see him as the saviour of English football that he was talked up to be.

We were rubbish yesterday and I'm getting a bit sick of the way Ronaldo and Nani go down.

I thought Rooney worked quite hard yesterday.

Rooney just plays with passion and i thought he was good yesterday.

Feckin Giggs on the other hand is useless now and we are a far better team when he's not playing IMHO. His passing is sh!te, he doesnt tackle (looks scared to make any kind of challenge) and generally seems to be there just to take corners. Thats about it. Dont get me wrong he's been a model professional and idolised by many young pups (myself included) but he seems only to be in the side now so he can break Charltons record.

Scholes was toss yesterday too

Going back to the OP's comments

Rooney let himself and the team down. He did get caught by Reid but the dive to exaggerate the contact and then the attempt to cut Samba in half were unacceptable.

He was lucky not to be sent off.

On the subject of rooney, he is a live wire always has been always will be, he comes from a boxing background and its bred into you, no-one will take that away not even the old red nosed chewing taggart. At the end of the day he has hardly ever been sent off in his man utd carrer because of one thing, he plays for man utd an the ref's are so up you ***** its unbelievable, you have once again cheated your way to the top of the table and will probably keep on cheating as no-one wants to upset the oap in charge, surely he has paid enough into his pension now so he can **** off and retire.

mind you if bolton find out he's leaving they may put a bid in for him to play up front along side charlton

Good point about Rooney then it gets all silly, very Ash-esque

It's not cheating our way to the title, we are awarded it in advance for being so fookin good, appparently we're down to win it next season as well

said this for years about the lump, a potential not realised. crouch always better option for me, scores more, handful for defenders .......

giggs over rated, so many appearances for someone who has one foot.

Just looking for Crouch' s name. Hmmmm, strange for such a high scorer he's not there...

Barclays Premier League Top Scorers
Team TOT
Ronaldo Man Utd 28
Torres Liverpool 22
Adebayor Arsenal 21
Santa Cruz Blackburn 16
Berbatov Tottenham 15
Keane Tottenham 14
Benjani Man City 14
Tevez Man Utd 13
Yakubu Everton 13
Carew Aston Villa 12
Defoe Portsmouth 12
Anelka Chelsea 11
Gerrard Liverpool 11
Rooney Man Utd 11
Agbonlahor Aston Villa 10

As for Giggs, you're right, he's completely useless. Just puts it into perspective about how good we must really be to have won all those trophies effectively playing with just 10 men...

Giggsy may not be the player he once was admitedly, but I'd never slate the guy, he has been an absolute Legend for Utd and hopefully he'll take the record he currently shares with Hansen for the most Championship medals in a couple of weeks.
