Suggested replacement for Dyer ?

Saw it happen and knew instantly it looked like a leg break. Took the commentators ages to pick up on it.
Nasty, and all the fans were boo'ing him when he went down cause it did look a little weak.

It didn't look too bad, it wasn't an open fracture nor was the leg flopping about doing other damage, I did the same thing 12 years ago just above the ankle whereas mine was facing the wrong way once I came to a halt!! and it fooked my ligaments up as well
I didn't play for a year but i'm sure he will recieve superb back up from the WHU medical staff rather than one hours physio once a week down at Chase Farm on the NHS lol.
I never like to any player get a double fracture it's not pleasant in the slightest and brings back some bad memories.

Sure his leg doesnt flop about but it certainly completes a 90degree bend half way up his shin.

Darren Anderton could be interested and even he would play more times for his club than Dyer

Got to say I'm pleased we got rid of him from the Toon, but he's one unlucky guy to have that happen to him so soon after the move.
Still, just shows that his injuries aren't the sole property of Newcastle.....
