I wonder if he will stick to the long ball game, that'll go down well at St James, at least it keeps him away from the England job , not that I want SMc to stay, just don't want Sam !

I don't get the long ball game people talk of. Sure they use it but they play a similar style to chelski. It's a pressure release tactic then allows the skillful players to join up.

I am looking forward to seeing what Sam is capable of with a big club now. Should make an interesting season or 2. Wonder how Bolton are going to get on without him next year.

I think it will take a bit of time to sort the club out but he'll turn them into a lot more stable force in the Prem. I don't understand the Geordies saying they don't want him because of this and that. They've done nothing for decades so if he brings any success regardless of the style of football I'm sure they wont give a sh*t

Agreed, Im sure Newcastle will be happy to see them in the top 6 again challenging the bigger clubs. No matter what anyone says he has taken little old Bolton to new heights and it'll be interesting to see what he does with a bigger budget.

As per normal 'peaking early' and based upon recent history:
ALLARDYCE OUT!
I think he'll restore some stability to the club that Souness tried yet failed to do, big style!
Good luck to him and reading more about what he's achieved he isn't just a longball, grind out a result man
Its amazing to see all the Mackems slither out of the woodwork like silverfish.
I agree at present they'll probably beat us but thats not hard, the record books will always show that Sunderland are officially the worst team ever in the EPL only to be beaten by Sunderland

Good move on Shepperd's part I reckon (for a change), I don't know why Sam's been cursed with the 'long ball' tag, Bolton play that way far less than Cheski have under Maureenio.
I wonder if Sam's had a clause put in to his contract connected to Freddie opening his clueless fat mouth in the press all the time He's caused more upset in one dressing room than Bellamy has managed in four
