why did we have to have steve mclaren

we had to have him because we got obsessed with having an english manager, well unfortunatley we cannot have an english manager AND a successful team, we just aint got any good enough managers for that level of footy.

I agree.
Even the players seem clueless. Even when in goal scoring positions they seem unable to even get the ball on target. 2 shots in 90 minutes is crap.
But then we should stop expecting better from the standard of players England have at the minute.

england has plenty of top class players, the managers just never pick them, instead always using players that are fresh out of injury and the big names, and then some weird choices.

El Tel? The Cockney Spiv?
You can bet your bottom dollar he's got at least the same amount (if not more) of say as McClaren.
His ego wouldn't have let him take the job otherwise.

Just back from the game - what utter, utter tripe.
Where do I start?
No movement, no creativity, no options (especially down the left in the first half), no desire or passion and a nonsensical formation.
"Only in England could they appoint someone with such obvious limitations to become the national coach" - not far off, Massimo.
