Hargreaves to United

Pontificating
i'd been hoping this may happen for some time, wanted him over Senna any day (all that speculation has quietened down for now), but as Tim says it doesn't look like it will happen BM certainly don't want to sell him, probably means we'll have to pay over the top again, which they wont do twice in a season, I reckon Hargreaves is itching to make the move, he'll have to pop in a transfer request.

I'm 90% sure it'll happen, considering the statements made.
A very good move, in my opinion, and nice to see we're still buying English (or fairly close, at least ).
Torres or Tevez will complete the jigsaw.

I'd love this to happen, been reading the rumours with interest for months now! According to reports though, the Munich boss isn't interested in selling him

I would have preferred either Diarra or Mascherano, but with Diarra seemingly on his way to Madrid, and Mascherano earmarked as Makelele's replacement at Chelsea (plus the MSI/Abramovich implications), I'll gladly accept Hargreaves.

Never fear, he's on his way.
As above, if we bring in either Torres or Tevez, I think we'll have a very good squad, for a very long time.

I still don't think we'll get him.
We desperately need another striker too and I don't think we will get one before the deadline ends.
We should have had a look at that Klaas Jan Huntelaar before he made his international debut.

Quite the pessimist, Tim?
I'm not confident whatsoever in landing a striker, but I wouldn't rule it out.
We got a close look at Huntelaar when he played against us in the Amsterdam tournament, and he did very little of note, apart from missing a penalty. However, he's one for the future.

Back to serious stuff .
Hargreaves will be a fantastic buy for you, especially with Carrick in there too, he showed in the world cup and last nights game that he gives his all for the full 90 mins.
