Spurs new signing...
Why do Spurs think they have pulled off a major coup by getting Davids on a free transfer
He is 32 and well past it which is why no one else wanted him He has maybe this season and 1 more left in him so why is he such a major signing? They go on about how he has 10 years of top quality experience, yes thats right but he is now old in footballing terms and the fact no big club was competing for his signature it just about sums up why he went to Spurs
LOL Spurs really are so desperate and as an Arsenal fan it makes me so pleased to see them having to scrape the barrell for players to sign for them

lol I know, Chelskis new policy is to stop Arsenal buying any players by outbidding them for everyone we go for However it wont be long before those players realise that only playing 1 game a month due to a massive squad rotation policy wont be doing their International prospects any good.

Exactly, this happy time at Chelsea wont happen for too much longer. Players will get bored sitting on the bench and not getting in international matches and go elsewhere..

Scott Parker springs to mind!
Virtually went on strike at Charlton to get his big money move and look where he's ended up.
Joe Cole was whinging last year before Robben and Duff got injured, and he got a run of games. Now with SWP there and possibly Essien too, his games could be limited again.
There's decisions to be made, World Cup squad or bank balance?
We'll see indeed!

Seriously though (famous last words), for the first time since I can remember I am looking forward to an improvement in the Spurs fortunes.
I believe Davids has a season or two left in the tank. It is a young squad wanting to improve. Proven players like King, Defoe, Carrick and Robinson to lead the way and a quality coach can see us moving to 5th or 6th this season.
I know I'll be ripped for the above but reckon it is a fair evaluation.

Here's hoping you get what you hope for this season (as long as you don't beat the **** of course ).
I'd like to see Spurs back in Europe - Will give us something to laugh about next year .

Not happy with last night, we are not good enough to rest players. Silly thing is, we should have gone for 3 against Blackburn as would have been a lot easier than getting a point from the lucky Bluers..

Blackburn should be fined for that display
Chelsea look like they may have turned a corner .
