Question installing a nokia car kit, question ?

Spurred on by succesfully installing my sub woofer last night, todays project maybe a handsfree kit. Regarding the live wire...if i cut away some of the insulation off the amp live, solder in the live for the phone kit and then put the 1A fuse inbetween the amp live and the hands free kit will this be okay ?

I want to do this to avoid having loads of additional lives coming off the battery

The nokia kit comes with a seperate speaker wheres the best place to mount this in a MY00 ?

The hands free unit is quite old HFU-2 (they are upto 5 now) I assume I cannot get this wired into the speakers ?

thanks in advance for any advice
Rick

Default

just send all the wires to the headunit, all you need is there, mute, earth, pos and ign.

would put the speaker in the pass footwell, and the mic as near to the centre of the car in the front as poss idealy above the rear view mirror
