Unlike lpski1 I do not commiserate with the PNE fans, because if football was about sport rather than money, they, like the Hammers would not even have been there.
PS If the play offs don't set the precedent for Everton being kicked out of their Champions League spot in favour of the Mighty Reds, I don't know what does

you could apply the same logic to Liverpools win in the champions league...it's only because of money that Liverpool were in the comp because the big clubs want more than just the champions to be involved, they came 4th in the league last year yet that somehow allows them to compete against champions...

Very stressful game to watch, especially the last quarter of an hour. Seven minutes injury time
Still it was a good day out, Cardiff became an extension of the east end for a day What happened to all the Preston fans, the high street was awash with claret and blue, not a single Preston fan to be seen.
Was my first visit to the millenium stadium and wow what a venue.
Back where we belong

My Nephew was enjoying it on my shoulders
oh it was good over there. im a bit croaky today
I think the playoffs are a silly idea and promotion should go on merit for how you fair in the league throughout the season. Maybe they will change the layout next season and quite rightly so As said above, if it wasnt for the playoffs we wouldnt be back in the Prem(where we belong) but we done enough for the playoffs.
We'll give you a warm welcome to Upton Park next Season
