Man Utd fans wanting other also-rans to beat the English top two in any competition. Sad state of affairs for Man Utd to be in really.
Hope you can qualify for Next seasons CL - You always start seasons poorly - no wonder SAF didn't want to finish third .

As much as I dislike the idea of cheering on a "Laandaaan" team I'd much rather they beat the dippers tomorrow.
Can you imagine what they (the mickeys) would be like if they walked away with the European Cup? Eurgh They thought they won a treble back in 2001 and that was bad enough so if they won an actual real trophy it would be unbearable.
So yes, I would rather watch the rent boys walk it.
On the otherhand it could be funny to watch the wranglings between then and Everton over who should be allowed to play in the Champs league next year if Liverpool were actually to win it.

The difference is, United will be still up there in 10years competing on money earned from out football, I doubt your lot will be. Especially if the thief gets bored of losing almost 100m a year and realises its a bad investment. People keep comparing you to Blackburn, if the thief gets bored then you will be more like Leeds, I would be very worried of that prospect if I were a Chelsea fan.

Do you really think Utd will be fighting it out for THIRD place in ten years time, as they do now, on the money they earn from football? Glad I'm not a Utd fan.
Up the Champions!

You are right we have been here before so lets leave it as we will never agree. But one thing, I'm pretty certain United will be fighting for at least 3rd place in 10 years.
Up the champions indeed, everyone knows how much you lot like it up you.

Sore losers dont see utd fans whining about how Whelan has chucked his cash about Wigan to claim the div 3 and the championship.... ohhh no. now IF (I know its not gonna happen) Wigan was challenging for the prem title next season how many of you would be saying hes bought it or how many would be astonished at how well theyve done.... theres life out of the prem guys. Splashing the cash has been going on for years, just Chelsea have done it on a higher level and if anything its brought more life into an ever dulling premiersh!t. Im glad the Russian dodgy git has bought his way in... footballs been run by money for too long so why cant someone buy into it? Chelsea didnt get it last year for 1 reason and that was Arsenals unbeaen run. simple as

only reason I'll cheer chelsea over liverpool tonight is because I think they stand a better chance of getting past AC Milan in the final and bring the CL trophy to England. Wouldnt mind if Liverpool could do it but I feel it'll be awful for Everton not to get there as a reward for a superb effort this season. they deserve something a little different.
