Woo - we kicked the Rams ***
Now that's defense
Kenny Holmes recovered one Kurt Warner's six fumbles for a touchdown, and the Giants sacked the St. Louis Rams' quarterback six times, intercepted him once and sent him to the hospital with a concussion in a 23-13 victory.

Yup, was glad to read that about DD - it really didn't look good.
Aside from having a fiver on the Pack (wishful thinking!) I haven't really looked into the Superbowl market. Should do.
I agree that KC with a healthy Priest and a bolstered D look useful, but Tampa look scary having shut out the Eagles on the road! When you consider that the Eagles are in most peoples top 4 for a SB place, that's a pretty awesome feat.
Outsiders? Well, I think Plummer should do well in Denver, and the Bills have strengthened their D. And over in the NFC the Seahawks had a storming end to last season, and their start hasn't been too shabby! I also still have a sneaking feeling for the Saints....
The upshot of this is that I can't make up my mind and haven't put me money anywhere near me mouth!

Another week of NFL action, another shocking upset. John Kasay's 47-yard field goal gave the Panthers a 12-9 OT win over the Buccaneers

I only watched the first half, and then went to bed. Was very surprised when I saw the score this morning. They did that at the end of last season, built up a big lead, and then blew it.

Oh my god, the Giants game was nerve racking last night! Towards the end I dont think I had any finger nails left!! I really thought we'd be comfortable, but we diddnt give the killer blow.
Lucky we won it in OT though

Not sure why I made the effort to venture round to my folks house to watch Sky last night.
I think the key point was the Giants going 80 yards or so and coming up with nothing when the punter missed the FG.

Aye. The Giants K pulled a hamstring kicking a FG at the end of the first half. Up steps the punter and shanks it right.
I can't belive you don't have a back-up plan in the form of your kicker at least doing a few punts and the punter doing a few FGs. It's not like they spend all week learning the play book is it?
