Off we go for another season, anyone brave enough to tip the Champions already?
kev :) |
2 posts in and i'm posting pictures of cheerleaders
I'm not going to complain :D
Woo - we kicked the Rams ass :D
Kenny Holmes recovered one Kurt Warner's six fumbles for a touchdown, and the Giants sacked the St. Louis Rams' quarterback six times, intercepted him once and sent him to the hospital with a concussion in a 23-13 victory. |
my first week tip for the Super Bowl is either Tampa or Kansas City :Dhttp://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/images/icons/icon14.gif

Yup, was glad to read that about DD - it really didn't look good.
Aside from having a fiver on the Pack (wishful thinking!) I haven't really looked into the Superbowl market. Should do. I agree that KC with a healthy Priest and a bolstered D look useful, but Tampa look scary having shut out the Eagles on the road! When you consider that the Eagles are in most peoples top 4 for a SB place, that's a pretty awesome feat. Outsiders? Well, I think Plummer should do well in Denver, and the Bills have strengthened their D. And over in the NFC the Seahawks had a storming end to last season, and their start hasn't been too shabby! I also still have a sneaking feeling for the Saints.... The upshot of this is that I can't make up my mind and haven't put me money anywhere near me mouth! :D |
well, the Falcons choked  Bills looked good though :)
I was only able to catch part of the Bills game, but they looked awesome when I was watching them!
Another week of NFL action, another shocking upset. John Kasay's 47-yard field goal gave the Panthers a 12-9 OT win over the Buccaneers |
Buccs vs. Falcons tomorrow night  no idea what to expect
I think the Buccs will be to strong to be honest.
Also, it looks like the Giants are also on Sky after that! :) C'mon Giants!!! |
it's painful :( bring back Vick, broken leg or not ;)
although gotta give Sapp some credit - nice TD :) |
Giants are looking good at half time :) lets not mention the Falcons
Well the Redskins got their act together in the second half then. Still we won, just, and top of the NFC East
great finish to the game for a neutral :D not sure i could of handled it as a Giants fan ;)
I only watched the first half, and then went to bed. Was very surprised when I saw the score this morning. They did that at the end of last season, built up a big lead, and then blew it.
Oh my god, the Giants game was nerve racking last night! Towards the end I dont think I had any finger nails left!! I really thought we'd be comfortable, but we diddnt give the killer blow.
Lucky we won it in OT though :) [Edited by Reib - 9/22/2003 8:55:15 PM] |
i think i can write off the Falcons season already
Hey Sammy, care to comment on the Saints performance this week? ;) :D
Giants game on Sky Sports Xtra now!
Collins intercepted twice already :( |
Shockey's looking good tonite  NY might just turn this game around
i'll keep my mouth shut next time :o:rolleyes:
Oh the Saints are good :(
about as good as the falcons :o i'm following the chiefs this year ;)
Not sure why I made the effort to venture round to my folks house to watch Sky last night.
I think the key point was the Giants going 80 yards or so and coming up with nothing when the punter missed the FG. |
The punter took the FG?
Aye. The Giants K pulled a hamstring kicking a FG at the end of the first half. Up steps the punter and shanks it right.
I can't belive you don't have a back-up plan in the form of your kicker at least doing a few punts and the punter doing a few FGs. It's not like they spend all week learning the play book is it? |
Not good, how far out was it?
Wonder what the odds on a Minnesota / Kansas superbowl? How about Seattle topping the NFC west  |
