Little Miss WRX

Recently David (dharbige) and I have been slaving over some forums dedicated to the beautiful game of football. (Okay, so David has done the vast majority of the work ).

We would appreciate it if you could register on the site at http://thefinalwhistle.net in order to help us with testing and to see whether the forums are going to work. If you could also spread the word to any people you know who are interested or involved in football in any way. I am especially keen to get grass roots football online and also recruit fellow referees.

Registration, access and use of the discussion forums is free to all.

It all started off with an idea I had to provide some forums whereby fans, players, team officials and referees could all interact together. To provide support, ideas, banter and bringing all parties closer together and hopefully with more understanding towards each other - especially referees!!!
David emailed me with some ideas and has been a rock and source of inspiration ever since, if it wasn't for him, this wouldn't have got off the ground.

Many, many thanks to Si for allowing me to do this post in order to help me get this up and running.

Ive read the bit about the avatar on Toon Mans thread and also read the FAQ, am I being thick, do I have to find the avatar I like and then submit via e-mail to the website Guru or Admin to get the OK to use it ?? and do you install it under my name?? sorry for so many questions and for posting here, i didnt want to mess up the new forum with ****** questions

Makes it more appealing with more posts too.

Just an update, we have added an alternative football forum for all you rugby, AFL, American footie, super 12's and any other dodgy egg shaped ball type sport fans.

David has worked a new feature into the profile section whereby you can select what team you support which then gives you a new title related to your club.
If you can't find your team then PM David or myself and we'll add it in.

We also need some nicknames for the teams too, we have some set up, but not many!

I'll be doing a coaches training course next week and will be involved in Little Bajies Under 7 side. Might be able to learn a thing or two there.
There are also a lot of young referees I have seen at the tournaments my son has been entered in. I'll mention the site to them too. if you don't mind that is ...

One of the guys who qualified recently as a referee is wanting to do some online coaching and is thinking of utilising the site. Feel free to mail me to discuss how we can help you out in this respect and maybe you could work together with the guy I know in a joint coaching forum?

Thank you to everyone who have registered and are using the site. 92 users now and the server is still holding up....well, David hassn't hassled me to get a host yet so it must be doing good.
