South Korea forward Ahn Jung-Hwan might be a hero after scoring the Golden Goal that knocked the Azzurri out of the World Cup, but he looks unlikely to return to his Italian club, Perugia, after the coach demanded his removal.
Perugia coach Serse Cosmi said: "I will ask my president to let him go. I don't want to see him in my team."
Club president Luciano Gaucci appeared only too eager to grant the wish. "He was a star, a phenomenon against Italy. But he never played a match like that one in Perugia. I consider his attitude an offence to a country that helped him for two years, and as a president of an Italian club, I feel guilty. I don't want to pay him any more."
Cosmi added: "Obviously he did what he could for his own team. But I can only say, if he he had run for Perugia in the last two seasons like he ran against Italy, he would have been playing many more games."
Ahn joined Perugia from Pusan Icons in August 2000 and has failed to shine in his two seasons in Italy. He scored four goals in 29 matches in his first season, but just one in 14 last season.

It's so pathetic it's funny.
Ahn will get snapped up very quickly so he'll be quids(or lira) in.
IF we lose on Friday I hope we'll have more dignity than the Argies, French, Portugese and Italians put together.
