Anyone see that behind the scenes clip on the BBC news tonite of the BBC footie panel when England scored.
....Wrighty and Linekar went mental......but Alan Hansen just sat there....no emotion at all.....boring git..

If Scotland were in the World Cup i'd still support them,as i will be cheering on Ireland tomorrow.........

btw"....i'd just love it if England won the World Cup,just love it,i would ,i'd love it"."....said in a keeganesque voice..
.......just to shove it up Hansens ****

Question

Why should he (not being English) want England to win it?

I had money on Portugal, hence wanted them to win it, now I want Brazil to win it because they play the best football of any of the teams in the tournament.

BTW, why does half of Britain feel the need to support Ireland in their matches? I just don't understand

Brazil havent been tested yet but i dont disagree they play good football !
I think the reason why we Englaish support the other home nations is because their players play in our league
for me Finnan is the best right back in Britain & hes also a Fulham player
In someways i hope they go out so he gets a rest for next season

lets all het behind the home nations & support them all
Im English through & through & proud of it but i still want Scotland Wales & Ireland to do well

How do you define home nations? I would have thought it meant't the UK of which Ireland is not and does not want to be a part.

Did anyone else think that martin o'niell and peter reid seemed to be getting sick of him (alan hansen) at the germany-paraguay game
Alan Hansen seems to think any player who gets a header in the box should score, He couldn't hit a barn door from 20 yards
