Oooooo, almost time! ![Cool](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You should all be getting your start times through now, so let us know the earliest one and we can organise a time for the Convoy to leave![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I suggest leaving from Ower Services, that way you all get a Mc D's brekkie before you go and it's an easy journey up from there![Cool](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
I'll be in Yeovil the night before as I'm meeting up with Rach as I'm co-driving hers, so if someone can lead the Convoy I'd be grateful![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We've got Scoobs coming from all over the country as well as all the classic cars, so it looks like it'll be one to remember!!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Andy, can't find one that Dave's produced - and can't find one from last year - I'll knock one up though with the offical logo's if needed?
I think others have just taken donations, but I'm not sure. Bit different to last year!
Oo - and here's a link to the Optimax stations around Warminster

- See note on SIDC.
Andy -
! Was hoping Martine could make it
Not sure what Jay is doing, he can always come with me and Rach if he can get to Warminster ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Just bring a tent (if you're staying over) and some beer tokens and turn up at Warminster with the guys - we can organise you from there!
lol!

Does anyone have an earlier start time than Andy and Martine? If we go from there's we need to be there 30 minutes before to allow for checking in/using the toilets/having a chat which means 8:45, takes about an hour to get there so leave at 7:45 meeting at 7:30? ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Let me know if that doesn't make sense!!
Should allow enough time for you all to get up there, I'm staying at Rachel's the night before, so I'll see you all there (I'll be there bright and early anyway
).
So far - 69 Scoobs registered!!
Coming from Cumbria/Cheshire/Kent/Essex/Nottinghamshire/London - going to be an excellent party!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Ok - We're meeting at Warminster HERE, about 1 hour from Ower (at a very easy pace
), where were meet up with everyone, register, pick up route book and start the tour at your alloted time ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We then have a lunchtime stop, this year at the Haynes Motor Museum (reduced price entry available
) where you can buy lunch etc.
Then we head to Yeovil - Lufton Manor where the offical finish is - we then have a BBQ, Awards, Charity Auction, Entertainment and a bit of a Party!
![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
We can camp over there and cooked breakfast is available in the morning for a few pounds - bargin![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
After that you can do whatever you like
Any questions?

oh right, have I got this correct?
the event is at warminster, we will meet at Ower at about 730am to get there on time?
meaning we have to be at Ower at about 730am?
I do get a little confused very easily as you all know well.
best I give you a call, in fact, best that M gives you that call to make sure we get there!!!

Right - Ower McD's at 7:30, leaving at 7:45 to get to Warminster at 8:45ish? ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Everyone be there - I won't be because I'm staying with Rach from tomorrow night as we're using her Scoob for the run, so I'll be coming to Warminster from Yeovil
And of course I'll see you all there! ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
That ok?

Yup - M27 Junction 2, as you come off from Pompey take the third exit towards Salisbury at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit which is the services, follow the road around to the left of the petrol station and McD's is 'round there, we usually meet in the non-drive through car park so the one just past McD's ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Have you not met us there Andy?! We always meet there for Castle Coombe events/Longleat etc!

Have a good time every1, I would have loved to have come along but as I mentioned to Andy I'm working all weekend
.
On the plus side I'm keeping the Scoob until at least my 25th birthday (July), and then I'll see if any insurance companies are prepared to insure me for less than a grand (putting all my eggs in L&V's basket at the moment)!
JAY
(PS If you see some bloke squashed into an F-reg Polo waving at you - it's probably me!

Brilliant weekend!!
tear-assing around the countryside in the name of charity rocks.
big thanks to Greg and Jim for stopping on the way home when I lost all gears![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
managed to get home in the end but it was touch and go when we hit traffic at Salisbury.
think Ive got away with it now though, hopefully it was a temporary glitch with boiling the clutch fluid, a quick stop and cool down and it was all systems go (slowly).
I guess thats the downside to driving the whole weekend at 5000rpm in third gear!!
Toss a drag race up the circuit in there as well and I think I prolly asked a wee bit too much of the green goddess.
who knows....
brilliant weekend away though and nice to raise so much money for a very worthwhile cause.

Andy!
Blimey! Glad it's ok now - hope it was just a temporary glitch... ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Glad you had a good weekend![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Btw, ...a message from Landyboy Dan...![Cool](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)

Hi all,
Just like to say the a big thanks to Dave et all for organising a brilliant
days motoring, not really the sort of thing us Landy boys and girls do
normally, but we still had a laugh, and raised a bit of cash to boot. It was
cool to see so many impressive motors there, even if "The Stig" says that
the Scooby is a boys car and the Mitsi a mans car!!! <waits for slap round
face with wet kipper>, but hey, what does he know!!
Anyway, as Jen said in her post, I'm gonna try to organise a few more Landys
for next year... so if you don't want to be outnumbered, you'll have to get
*REALLY* organised!! Hehe!! [YYY, Like he has a chance! - Jen]
As for the Scooby bear that we lost out on at the auction, we had every
intention of tieing it to our Landy's and ripping it in half
"all in
name of charidy mate"!!
Anyway, thanks again. It was good to meet so many of the scooby gang having
heard so much about you all!
Lookin forward to next year!
