Just a reminder folks of the Hants meet on 17th june 10.30am at Winchester services(northbound m3 btwn jnc8&9).Everything is organised now,pre-planned route has some top roads on it,all I need now is for plenty of you Scooby drivers to turn up to make all the work worthwhile.
I know you Hants owners can be hard work but lets make this a good one.

Laurence,the route is about 70 miles and takes in Basingstoke,Alton,Petersfield and the Meon valley finishing at the West Meon Hut Pub.I don't know how soon you need to get away but I would think that early afternoon should not be a problem.

 

Theres a top road between basingstoke and Alton(I think) did it in a Golf VR6 one time, cant remember exactly where it is, sorry.

Should be able to make it. I take it the services your refering to are the ones on the A34 turn off, by the big Tesco? Or do you mean the new services that haven't been there that long a bit further up?

Thanks to everyone who turned up today.The weather stayed fine for us and the convoy managed to stay together.I think we all enjoyed the route,even if we did get held up in some places.Still the pace was pretty quick and some of the bends entertaining.
I will try and sort another one out soon so let's see even more of you.

Enjoyed the meet, good choice of roads, interesting scoop of scoobs and owners, even the rain held off. Will not ever forget the sight of a line of Scoobs ahead of us and the looks of pedestrians (and the Lotus Ownwers Club meet)in the villages we passed through. We must definately do it again.
