Another Clay Shoot??
#6
Ian, yes it is clay things flying though the air.
We normally start about 11:00, complete either the 50 or 70 bird shot, then go for a beer.
The location is two mins from Bluewater shopping centre, so nice and easy to get to.
Mail me offline if you want some more information.

Jim, as the nike ad says "Just do it!"
I went to the last one, and I was a complete shooting virgin, had never held a gun before. I'm still no good (got 2 out of 70! ) but it was a lot of fun, and I would go again if I was not away.
Go on, you know you want to!

rhybeck,
A police check is not a legal requirement, none of the guests I have taken shooting at JJ's or anywhere else for that matter have ever needed one. It might just be something Lambourne like to have done. If you want to keep/own a shotgun then that is a different matter.
Chris.
P.S. Jim, I have not shot for over a year either so as the man says "Just do it"
Edited to add footnote.

Jim, up until last time, I'd never used a shotgun (done some rifle shooting when I was a scout)
However, if I'm the only person you know, I can understand why you might be apprehensive
Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on

Dan, next time you'll have to ring me. Would have been happy to shoot in the rain but didn't want to travel all the way over to find that no one else turns up.
Really sorry I missed it.
