Well done for continuing with the project. Must be very frustrating the pace that it's moving at but you know at the end of it all it will be something rather special.

Talking of something rather special....

So.... LOBA HPFP fuel pump has been fitted and the car was put back on the dyno Wednesday evening for a quick sanity check. I think we can say fuelling is back and what a difference it has made! Just a sneak peak at some interesting info so far. 622bhp at the current rev limit of just under 7400rpm. On 99oct fuel at a paltry flat decked peak and held 1.25bar and 40% wastegate duty! As you can see the power is still on the rise even as the rev limit kicks in. Canít wait to crank more boost in and extend the rev limit...... and really see what this GTX blower can do on this built engine on 99oct fuel! Seems just like the old days with the SPEC C! lol Full graphs when we get some real power.

For the moment this is where my RS3 8V.1 will be. 654bhp on the GTX3582 GEN2, on 99oct fuel and sub 1.5bar of boost at peak power. We are now all out of fuelling capacity but at a safe level on stock DI (it did make 675bhp but turned down slightly for safety on the fuelling side).

This project has fought me at every BHP, but now itís time to have a bit of well earned fun for a couple of months.

This is on the stock airbox, Forge FMIC, GTX3582 with .83 hotside, Nortech turbo kit, Peron supplied TVS Stage 3 DSG, Litchfield forged engine and 99 fuel @ sub 1.5bar boost at peak.

Letís hit the tarmac for some summer fun, before we get back on it over autumn.

Port injection to go on and then weíll push the boost to 2bar. Once thatís been done weíll stick the 3584RS back on. Then if thatís not enough weíll see what it will do on E85!

Plenty more left to do and a lot of headroom left in power. 🙈 See you all again in 2030! 🤣

WOW that's a cracking result. Would love to see how this takes off and puts the power down.

Great project, thanks for sharing again.
