From the item you have posted above your GL would appear to be a classic wagon rather than a newage.

Yes you can get them repaired but I suspect that both sides will be in the same state. Don't go to Bargain Bob unless he/she is a good friend, doing it from a well respected garage. You are looking at the thick end of £1000 or more to get a very good job on both sides.
