Arai forged pistons, eagle h rods, rcm crank, rcm head studs, rcm head gaskets, rcm 11mm oil pump pump, acl bearings,re bore re skim just to put it slowly back together as I am a beginner at this game I was a c20xe vauxhall man previous I have owned the car for about 2 years the scooby that is I'm just hoping it will get me good results when it's done eek
I have a vf23 at the moment I am putting a big front mount on and syns headers just to run it in for couple of oil changes then looking td06 20g I'm not sure if I'm totally honest what it will produce I want 400 I'll be happy with that for now lol

Nah man. Engine spec like that I'd go for a more modern billet spec turbo. For the money the TD is a good turbo but I'd be looking at a Garrett or Blouch billet version. Besides your engine will easily take more than 400 bhp.
I'm looking on a ball bearing turbo and yes I would love more power but I'm not sure the 5 speed box will be up to it also I am just going to run the faster map it already has for running in and settling it in with I am changing 2 things with the existing map they are headers and front mount would this affect the running in process? Nice one for your thoughts and replies cool

Don't scrimp on the mapping for crying out loud! You'll need a running in map, I wouldn't chance all your lovely hardware on an existing map. If you ask me you've got to go aftermarket management, Syvecs will go well with your spec. Plus in time you've got to go 6 speed to maximise the potential of your engine.
No I mean just to run it in lol it already was mapped by zen performance what I'm saying is I don't want to go and slap a big turbo on it straight away and mess up withe existing map if u know what I'm saying also yes there is time for a six speed in the future as u can well imagine it has cost a small fortune already nice one dude
The headers and intercooler are going to throw out the parameters by quite a bit in relation to the existing map. Personally I would have a running in map put on it, ask Zen see what they think. I feel your pain mate but you've got to pay to play. Shiny things cost money big time but they do look nice!
Ran my 2.1 in without a running in map with no issues. Nothing had changed other than the engine CC though, which the MAF accounted for without any issues. After it was run in it was tweaked to suit.
Nice build though, so satisfying doing all the work yourself .
