Default Sigma fobs

Hi all i am new on here.

I am sorry about this but i know that there is/are sigma people on here and this is the only forum i have found with descussion on sigmas.



I have a sigma alarm with a single fob, its oblong with a gray sticker an a button half way down and a screew thred piece on the back for battery, i have pics but dont know how to upload them.
Can a replacement fob be obtained.

Hello mate

Yes they can be replaced i got mine from ebay. I did mine 2 weeks ago. I was able to reprogramme it with the following guide:

Just reading that reprogamming page i dont have a keypad well not one i can see.

From your first post I'm assuming the alarm is not fitted to a Subaru??

If it was the keypad is usually fitted in either the glove box or in a coin tray out of the way. You need to check similar places.

If not you need to look for the Alarm ECU, usually fitted behind the dash and may also have a metal cover attached with security screws. Find that and you should be able to check if a keypad is connected.



Keypads come up on ebay occassionally.

I just received a replacement fob from a trader on here.

Give one of the breakers a quick call, they're sure to have spares they don't need. Mine was cheaper than what you pay on ebay. Matt @ Pole Position sorted mine

ye syou are correct its not a scooby its a mk3 golf, ok i will hunt round to either find keypad or ecu, if i find this how do i find security code as nothing has been pased with car

will be the M series alarm yes you can get replacements but with no keypad you will need the programmer i have both if you fancy a run to Leeds

I have found the keypad in the top left of the front window but i dont have any code and any idea how to use the keypad
but i still need to find the ecu to determin what the model is.
