Default Clifford 950

hi all, just had a 950 installed on saturday with remote start, however my speedo at first was intermittently working and now its stopped working and the check engine light comes on - fault code 33, the bizarre thing is the hand brake light is slighly lit when the hand brake is of any ideas why ?

The chaps who installed it have disabled the remote start behind the dash, but the remote start feature is somehow connected to the handbrake anyhow I want to remove the fuse for it (juist the remote start) anyone know where this is ?

what car do you have? You should not have to remove the fuse as it is suppose to be working properly in the first place

I have a 1999 version 5 sti, I removed the 30amp fuses and the handbrake light is still slightly illuminated when the handbrake is of. I took the dash apart and drove the car, speedo began working, then sort of strecthed the wires and had a fiddle screwed everything back and it seems ok for now, but for how long?? I drove the car this morning speedo was working, when driving back in afternoon it stopped. My alarm fellow says its nothing to do with his work, but I think he must have hit soemthing as I have never experiecned this problem before
