Snapped Keyfob ring
The plastic part of my Sigma alarm keyfob has snapped off. I recall vaguely a thread on how where to drill it, but I've done a search and cannot find it.
Failing that where is the cheapest place to get another one from?

Andy,
My fob button wore out (previous owner was a Doc = in and out of car all day
)I found the dealers quoted the same as independant suppliers (+ or _ £5), but the independants would not be able to supply the Subaru sticker on the fob.
Opted for a £50
replacement at service time but was surprised when the bill came in at around £35.
Apparently £50 is what they charge to sell the part, add batteries and programme it into your alarm.
As a good will guesture my dealer dropped the programming charge, as its a 2 min job.
IIRC I sent you the manual on how to reprogramme new fobs etc, so I'd opt for a dealer supplied part without the programming.

Andy,
Not sure if you can split the fobs open.
If you can you could have my old casing (yep - I kept the old fob
) and put your internals / button in it.
Might be worth a try if your fobs beyond repair anyway.

Don't get your hopes up to much.
My buttons none existant, so you will need to be able to replace it.
When I tried to get it replaced I got the "you need a new fob" routine, but that could just have been sales banter.
